When is The Ladbrokes Steeple Chase 2021?
17Registered as the Berkshire Novices Steeplechase, and formerly known as the Fulke Walwyn, this race was Listed in 2001 and was upgraded to a Grade 2 race in 2004. Since 2017, this race has been sponsored by Ladbrokes and is currently known as The Ladbrokes Steeple Chase (A Novices' Limited Handicap) (For the Fulke Walwyn Trophy)
The Ladbrokes Novices Steeplechase takes place on Friday 26th November 2021 with the race starting at 2:30pm during The Ladbrokes Winter Carnival at Newbury Racecourse.
This is a Grade 2 race run over 2 miles and 4 furlongs. It is open to horses aged fours years and over.
Last year's winner took home prize money of £17085.

Early declarations are in and only 7 are entered, this could easyly be less by raceday on Friday, looking at the stats it will probably pay to stick with the first 3 in the betting FIDDLERONTHEROOF, CARIBEAN BOY and KALOOKI as they all fit the profile.

CARIBEAN BOY 13:50 Newbury 5/2 – Just 3 runners and it is hard to discount any of them but ready preference is for CARIBEAN BOY who wasn't stopping when winning well on heavy going when last seen in February and should be even better on this good ground.
How did we do?
CARIBEAN BOY won by 4 lengths after a pretty good round of jumping, after drifting in the betting to 100/30 he went of as the ousider of 3.
