When is The Tingle Creek Festival 2021?

The Tingle Creek Christmas Festival  is the highlight of the jump racing calendar at Sandown Racecource.

This two day meeting starts on Friday 3rd December 2021 with races starting at 12.45pm on the Friday and 12.05pm on the Saturday.

There's two fantastic group one races on the Saturday and an exciting grade two in the form of the Ballymore Winter Novices' Hurdle on the Friday, and plenty more racing over these two days.

Our highlights for the Tingle Creek Festival are:

Check out each of our race pages where you will find Keith has crunched the numbers and found the trends for each race.  These stats are really helpful in finding out, or better still, ruling out possible selections for winning the race.  Here's some nuggets we found:

Winter Novices Chase

All of the last 11 winners had run between 13 and 34 days ago, all of the last 11 winners were aged between 4 and 6, Alan King has won the race 5 times in the last 11 years.

Henry VIII Novices Chase

3 of the last 11 winners started as favourite and all 11 were in the first 5 in the betting, 9 of the last 11 winners had won last time out, all 11 of them finished in the first 2 last time and 9 of the last 11 winners were bred in France, 2 in Ireland.

Tingle Creek Chase

All of the last 12 winners were geldings, none of the last 12 winners wore any headgear, and 11 of the last 12 winners returned a SP of 7/2 or less.
