When is The Silviniaco Conti Chase 2021?

The Unibet Silviniaco Conti Chase takes place on Saturday 9th January 2021 and gets underway at 2.55pm at Kempton Park Racecourse.

This is a recently promoted race from a listed to Grade 2 in 2020, it's one of the highlights of the Ladbrokes Lanzarote Hurdle Day at Kempton.

This year we have an extra race thrown in, where the Rekeel Hurdle Chase (2.20pm) has been added after it's abandonment on New Years Day.

The race is named after a former Kempton Park star – Silviniaco Conti – twice winner of the King George VI Chase held at Kempton Park on Boxing Day each year.

The Unibet Silviniaco Conti Chase is open to horses aged 5 years and over, and is run over a distance of about 2 miles and 4 and a half furlongs.

Silviniaco Conti Chase Tips

Disappointing turnout with just 4 runners declared at the 48 hour stage. It is hard to look past IMPERIAL AURA although RIDERS ON THE STORM may be the one to make  a race of it.

Keith's Final Selection

IMPERIAL AURA 14:55 Kempton 5/6 – Disappointing turnout with just 4 runners. It is hard to look past IMPERIAL AURA although RIDERS ON THE STORM may be the one to make  a race of it.

How did we do?

IMPERIAL AURA blundered and unseated his rider at the second. The winner was MASTER TOMMYTUCKER who made all and survived a bad mistake at the last.

His tips for the Silviniaco Conti Chase will be available to VIP members on the day of the Race in their email and on the site.
