Who can enter?
The VIP Tipping Competition is a free-to-enter, fun contest for members of the Free Racing Tips VIP Club.
If you’re not already a member, you can sign up here. (As well as being able to enter the tipping competition, you’ll also get our BEST bet of the day, tips for all ITV races, tips for every major Festival, and bonus tips from your fellow VIPs)
How to enter?
To enter the tipping competition, you choose two selections per day.
Points will be awarded to winning selections as follows:
Winner @ Odds On – 1 point
Winner @ 1/1 to 11/2 – 2 points
Winner @ 6/1 or higher – 3 points
* Entries open 6.30pm and close at 11:30am on day of racing.
What can I win?
A brand new car. An all-expenses-paid trip to Disneyland. A speedboat.
Just three things that you won’t win in the Free Racing Tips VIP Tipping Competition.
What you CAN win however, if you’re the best tipster on FRT this week, is a much-coveted, highly-sought-after, money-can’t buy FRT mug!
All together now.. Ooooh!!
And that’s not all – oh no! If you’re the king of the leaderboard at the end of the month, you will win your very own, personally-engraved trophy – crowning you as THE best tipster in the business right now.
Can I see what everyone else is tipping?
Ah, I see you’ve stumbled on the REAL reason that hundreds of people enter the VIP tipping competition every day.
You see, as well as mugs and trophies, you can also follow everyone else’s tips.
So, a quick glance at the leaderboard, and you can see what the UK’s most in-form, hot-streak tipsters are backing in today’s races.
You can see what most people are fancying. (Whether there’s “wisdom in crowds”, I’ll let you decide!)
And you can see what donkeys the “can’t-pick-a-winner-for-toffee” brigade have chosen.
All of which could help YOU make better betting decisions.
What are the rules?
- The Competition will run Monday to Saturday, throughout each month.
FRT mugs will be awarded to the person who scores the most points each week. - Weekly points will be added together to determine the overall monthly winner, who will receive a FRT VIP Tipping Competition trophy.
- You may only submit two tips per day.
- Only submissions via the entry form will be accepted.
- FRT accept no liability for entries not received.
- FRT’s decision on all points is final.
You must enter both selections separately even if they are in the same race. - Entries close at 11.30am on the day of racing.
- If more than two tips are submitted, the later ones are eliminated.
- In the case of non runners, substitutes must be in before the deadline of 11:30AM.
- Points will be awarded to winning selections only as follows: Winner @ Odds On – 1 point; Winner @ 1/1 to 11/2 – 2 points; Winner @ 6/1 or higher – 3 points

- Winner @ Evens to 3/1 – 2 point
- Winner @ 7/2 to 11/2 – 3 points
- Winner @ 6/1 or higher – 6 points

All of the days tips are posted in the Free Racing Tips – VIP Lounge on Facebook generally before noon. Leader boards are also posted in the Lounge.
