When is The Finale Juvenile Hurdle 2020?

Rescheduled for Saturday 9th January at 1.25pm at Chepstow Racecourse.
The Coral Finale Juvenile Hurdle takes place on Sunday 27th December and gets underway at 1.35pm at Chepstow Racecourse.
This is a race for novice hurdlers aged 3 years, and is the first of only three Grade 1 races in the season. The other two are the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and the Anniversary 4-Y-O Novices Hurdle at the Aintree Grand National Festival. The race runs over a distance of about 2 miles and the winner last year won £37018.
Martin Pipe and Nicky Henderson top the leading trainers board with 4 wins apiece. There's a number of Leading Jockeys who all share 3 previous wins in this race, including Mick Fitzpatrick, Peter Scudamore, Richard Johnson and Daryl Jacob.

12 Year Trends and Statistics (2010, 2012, 2015 and 2017 were all run in January the following year)
- Age – All of the last 12 winners were aged either 3 or 4.
- Sex – All of the last 12 winners were geldings, 1 colt and 2 fillies have been placed in the race.
- Trainer – Nick Williams and Paul Nicholls have both saddled 2 winners in the last 12 years.
- Country – 8 of the last 12 winners were bred in France and 4 in Great Britain.
- Colour – 8 of the last 12 winners were bay.
- Weight Carried – All of the last 12 winners carried 11st All geldings run off this weight, fillies carry 7lb less.
- Starting Price (SP) – 8 of the last 12 winners returned a SP of 100/30 or less, the other 4 were between 11/2 and 10/1.
- Starting Price Rank – 5 of the last 12 winners started as favourite and all were in the first 4 in the betting.

Finale Juvenile Hurdle Tips
The Coral Finale Juvenile Hurdle is another race robbed of quality Irish raider due to the travel ban, the best of the English contingent are NASSALAM, HOUX GRIS and ADAGIO and they are the trio I expect to be fighting out the finish.
Keith's Final Selection
ADAGIO 13:25 Chepstow 5/1 – Progressive type who was placed in a Grade 2 in November and followed that up with a very easy win at Cheltenham where he was never extended. NASSALEM is the obvious danger after trouncing his opposition in a pair of Juvenile hurdles at Fontwell and the French recruit HOUX GRIS could be anything.
How did we do?
ADAGIO was well backed in to 5/2 and ran accordingly wining readily from the favourite NASSALEM in second and HOUX GRIS a distant third.
