When is The May Hill Stakes 2021?
The May Hill Stakes takes place on the second day of the St Leger Festival, which in 2021 is on Thursday 9th September.
It's scheduled as the fourth race of the day, getting underway at 3:00pm.
This Group 2 race is a one miler open to fillies aged two years. The May Hill Stakes was inaugurated in 1976.
The winner is usually entered into the Fillies Mile at Newmarket a month later. 2017 was the last time that the same horse won both races when Laurens won in 2017.
