Kauto Star Chase Tips

The Kauto Star Chase is interesting this year but no where near a forgone conclusion. SHAN BLUE is a worthy favourite but BIG BREAKAWAY could be a shade young at just 5 and IF THE CAP FITS may be a bit long in the tooth. This leaves us with the Paul Nicholls runner ENRILO to give the favourite a run for the money.

Keith's Selection

ENRILO 13:50 Kempton 15/2 – The Kauto Star Chase is interesting this year but nowhere near a forgone conclusion. SHAN BLUE is a worthy favourite but BIG BREAKAWAY could be a shade young at just 5 and IF THE CAP FITS may be a bit long in the tooth. This leaves us with the Paul Nicholls runner ENRILO to give the favourite a run for the money.

How we got on

ENRILO was held up behind the leaders and travelling well until mistake at the 13th he was soon being pushed along and weakened before pulling up. SHAN BLUE went on to win with THE BIG BREAKAWAY 2nd and IF THE CAP FITS 3rd
