Once everything above has been weighed up there is only one standout candidate for the race the Sir Michael Stoute trained CRYSTAL OCEAN second to Capri in last year’s St Leger he hasn’t put a foot wrong this season with 3 group race wins on the belt including the Hardwick over course and distance at Royal Ascot where he commanding beat a quality field, the places should be filled by stable mate Poets Word and Irish raider Kew Gardens trained by Aiden O’Brien.
