September may not have produced quite the extraordinary numbers we saw in August, but there were still some excellent results from the professional horse racing tipsters we follow here at Free Racing Tips.
Last month, all three places on our leaderboard were occupied by tipsters with more than 100pts profit.
That was always going to be a tough act to follow.
But September still delivered plenty of profit, with our top two both finishing more than 50pts ahead and a familiar name returning to the top of the rankings.
So, after crunching the numbers, here are our best horse racing tipsters for September 2026, ranked by points profit.
3. On The Money Tips – 29.27pts profit

Taking third place for September is On The Money Tips, after finishing the month with a healthy 29.27pts profit.
It's been a little while since this service appeared in our monthly top three, so September represents a welcome return to the leaderboard.
While the two services above managed to pull clear this month, finishing almost 30pts in profit is still a strong result and comfortably earns On The Money Tips the bronze medal.

2. Each Way Morning Tips – 57.79pts profit
September profit: +57.79pts
Another month and another appearance in our top three for Each Way Morning Tips.
After banking an excellent 108.38pts profit in August, the service followed it up with another profitable September, this time finishing 57.79pts ahead.
That means Each Way Morning Tips has now made our monthly top three in back-to-back months, which is particularly encouraging when looking beyond the results of a single standout month.
It wasn't quite enough to take the number-one spot, but +57.79pts represents another very good return and earns Each Way Morning Tips second place for September.

1. The Dark Horse – 66.67pts profit
September profit: +66.67pts
Taking the number-one spot and earning the title of our best-performing horse racing tipster for September 2026 is The Dark Horse.
The service finished the month with an impressive 66.67pts profit, putting it just under nine points clear of its nearest challenger.
And this certainly isn't the first time we've seen The Dark Horse towards the top of these rankings.
It finished second in May with +66.77pts, third in June with +44.12pts, before going one better and topping our July rankings with +67.82pts.
September therefore gives The Dark Horse its second monthly win in the space of three months and its fourth top-three appearance since May.
That's an impressive run of results and makes September another excellent month to add to its record.

September's best horse racing tipsters at a glance
So, the final standings for September are:
1st – The Dark Horse: +66.67pts
2nd – Each Way Morning Tips: +57.79pts
3rd – On The Money Tips: +29.27pts
That's a combined 153.73pts profit between September's top three.
September couldn't quite match the remarkable 358.58pts combined profit produced by August's leading trio, but two services finishing more than 50pts ahead still represents a strong month.
It was particularly encouraging to see Each Way Morning Tips follow August's huge result with another profitable month, while The Dark Horse's return to the top continues what has been an excellent run through 2026.
Of course, one profitable month doesn't tell you everything about a horse racing tipster.
Results will fluctuate, which is why we continue tracking performance month after month rather than judging any service on one big winner or a particularly good spell.
Past performance can't guarantee future results either, but these rankings provide a useful snapshot of the tipsters producing the strongest returns right now.
