December Novices Chase Tips
When is The December Novices Chase 2020?
The December Novices Chase takes place at Doncaster Racecourse in December each year. Although up until 2014 it was run at Lingfield Park.
This year it is being held on 12th December at 2.05pm
A Grade 2 race restricted to horses aged 4 years and older. The race is run over a distance of about 3 miles.
The winner last year took home £22780.
This race is often a casualty of the poor December weather, where along with the Summit Juvenile Hurdle, the races were not run in the following years:
2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2011 (Frost),
2006, 2008 (Flooded)
2010 (Snow)
