Mrs Paddy Power Mares Chase tipsWhen is the Mrs Paddy Power Mares Chase 2022?

Cheltenham Friday 18th March 4.50pm

Mrs Paddy Power Mares Chase (Grade 2)

Distance: 2 miles 4 furlongs

A brand new race to the Festival, the Paddy Powers Mares Chase replaces the Novices Champion Chase which is moving to Sandown Park at the Imperial Cup meeting a few days before Cheltenham Festival.

The registered name of the race is the Liberthine Mares’ Chase and was added to the fixture to increase the number of mares races at the Festival.   Being a new race, there's not much else we can say, except that we're looking forward to another Graded race at Cheltenham this year!

Who are the Mrs Paddy Power Mares Chase Leading Contenders?

ELIMAY – Easy winner of a Listed event at Naas in February over 2 miles.

BENIE DES DIEUX – 3 from 3 in chases, not seen since finishing runner up in the Mares Hurdle at last years festival.

COLREEVY – Pretty lightly raced unbeaten over fences including a Grade 1 at Limerick on boxing day.

What’s Keith’s Mrs Paddy Power Mares Chase Tips for 2021?

With no stats to go on in this brand new race we have to rely on other factors.

The 3 leading contenders above are all trained by Willie Mullins so suffice to say this race revolves round his plans come raceday. Of the 3 I slightly favour COLREEVY.

Who is FRT’s Cheltenham Day 4 Tipster?

Keith Bond is our resident pro tipster here at FRT Towers. Keith lives and breathes horse racing, having begun his love of horse racing over 40 years ago with a part time job at Catterick Racecourse, as one of three fourteen year-olds looking after two jumps and a hurdle.

Over the years, Keith has been a regular at the northern tracks attending countless race meetings and building up a network of contacts, and a portfolio of systems and strategies.

He was one of the co-founders of Free Racing Tips all the way back in 2008, and his free tips are now backed by more than seventy thousand FRT members every single day.

“Thanks Keith – It’s great to be part of an amazing group of people all after the same thing, passing on tips to beat the bookies”

Colin Parkinson, Harrow.

The FRT community love Keith’s attention to detail, knowledge of past races, and ability to pick horses...

“You offer some great tips, some fantastic outsiders tipped up as well. Most tipsters just put up favourites. Well done and keep up the good work”

John Woolley, Stockport
