The UEFA Champions League is back, and bet365 is giving football fans the chance to put their predictions to the test with its FREE Tournament Challenge.
There’s up to £250,000 to be won across the competition, with prizes available for individual Champions League Matchdays as well as the overall tournament leaderboard.
And unlike a normal football bet, you don’t need to stake any of your own money to take part.
All you need to do is predict the results, earn points for your correct selections and see how high you can climb up the leaderboard.

How Does the bet365 Tournament Challenge Work?
Playing the Tournament Challenge is straightforward:
1. Predict the Results
For each fixture, select the result you think will happen after 90 minutes:
1 = Home Win
X = Draw
2 = Away Win
You’ll make selections throughout the UEFA Champions League, covering the League Phase Matchdays and Knockout Phases.
2. Pick Your Daily Double
You can choose one fixture as your Daily Double for each Matchday, Knockout leg or round.
Get that prediction right and the points earned from that fixture will be doubled.
That means it’s worth thinking carefully about which match you choose, particularly if you’re chasing a place towards the top of the leaderboard.
3. Earn Points for Correct Predictions
Every player gets 10 points per fixture to ‘stake’ on their chosen outcome.
If your prediction is correct, you’ll earn points based on the odds displayed within the Tournament Challenge.
So correctly predicting a less likely result can earn you more points than simply backing the favourite every time.
Your points accumulate and determine your position on the leaderboard.
4. Come Back for the Next Round
Once a Matchday or Knockout round has finished, return to the Tournament Challenge and make your selections for the next set of fixtures.
Keep getting results right and you’ll continue building your overall score throughout the Champions League.

What Can You Win?
There is up to £250,000 available through the Tournament Challenge, with prizes awarded through both Matchday leaderboards and the overall leaderboard.
Matchday Leaderboard Prizes
Individual leaderboards are available across the League Phase Matchdays, with additional combined leaderboards for the Knockout Phase Play-offs and Round of 16.
The prize structure is:

That means you don’t necessarily need to perform brilliantly throughout the entire tournament to win something. A strong set of predictions on an individual Matchday could be enough to put you in contention for a prize.

Your points also contribute towards your position in the overall Tournament Challenge standings.

The player who finishes at the top of the overall leaderboard will therefore collect £50,000.
bet365 Tournament Challenge FAQs
Is the bet365 Tournament Challenge free to play?
Yes. The Tournament Challenge is completely free to play for new and eligible bet365 customers. You don’t need to place a normal cash bet to enter.
How much can I win?
There is up to £250,000 available through the Tournament Challenge.
Prizes are awarded through individual Matchday leaderboards as well as the overall tournament leaderboard. The overall winner can receive £50,000, while the winner of an eligible Matchday leaderboard can receive £20,000.
How do I enter the Tournament Challenge?
Log into your bet365 account and find Tournament Challenge within the Football Free Games section.
From there, you can enter your predictions for the available UEFA Champions League fixtures.
What do 1, X and 2 mean?
For each match:
1 means you predict the home team to win.
X means you predict the match to finish as a draw.
2 means you predict the away team to win.
Predictions are based on the result after 90 minutes.
How are points calculated?
You receive 10 points per fixture to stake on your prediction.
If your selection is correct, the points you receive are determined using the odds displayed within the Tournament Challenge.
This means different correct predictions can be worth different amounts of points.
What is the Daily Double?
The Daily Double lets you nominate one fixture during a Matchday, Knockout leg or round.
If your prediction for that fixture is correct, the points you earn from it are doubled.
Can I change my Tournament Challenge predictions?
Selections can be edited before the relevant match begins. Once a fixture is In-Play, selections for that match can no longer be changed.
How many times can I enter?
Only one Tournament Challenge entry per person is permitted.
Do I have to predict every Champions League match at once?
No. You return throughout the competition to make your predictions for each new Matchday or Knockout stage as fixtures become available.
Where can I see my position?
Your current position can be viewed in the Leaderboards section of the Tournament Challenge.
Are there prizes for individual Matchdays?
Yes. There are separate Matchday leaderboards, meaning you can compete for prizes during individual stages as well as accumulating points towards the overall tournament standings.
What happens if players finish on the same number of points?
Where multiple entrants finish level on points in a prize-winning position, the applicable prize pool may be shared equally between the tied entrants in accordance with bet365’s Tournament Challenge terms.
Are Bet Credits withdrawable as cash?
Bet Credits themselves cannot normally be withdrawn as cash. Any qualifying returns generated from bets placed using Bet Credits are subject to bet365’s Bet Credits rules.
Do normal bet365 offers apply to the Tournament Challenge?
No. Entry into the Tournament Challenge is separate from normal bet placement, and standard bet365 offers do not apply to Tournament Challenge entries.

Using Bet Credits
- Bet Credits will be added to your Bet Credits balance once your predictions are confirmed as correct and once the result of the final fixture is known.
- Your Bet Credits are non-withdrawable. Any returns from Bet Credits stakes will be added to your Withdrawable Balance but Bet Credits stakes are not included in any returns. For example, a €10 bet placed at odds of 2/1 (3.00) would give a return of €30 (€20 winnings plus €10 stake), whereas a €10 Bet Credits stake placed at odds of 2/1 (3.00) would give a net return of €20, as the €10 Bet Credits stake is not returned.
- Stakes can be funded in part by your Bet Credits and part with your Withdrawable Balance; however the Bet Credits element of the stake will not be included in any returns. For example, a €10 bet placed at odds of 3.00 (2/1) which was funded by €5 Bet Credits and €5 cash would give a net return of €25 (€20 winnings plus €5 cash stake) as the €5 Bet Credits stake would not be returned. If a bet is void and has had an opportunity to win (for example, in the event of a push), Bet Credits stakes will not be returned. If a bet is void and has not had an opportunity to win (for example, when a Goalscorer bet is placed on a player who does not then take part in the match), Bet Credits stakes will be returned.
- Your Bet Credits will expire 7 days after they are added to your Bet Credits balance. If additional Bet Credits are added to your Bet Credits balance within this 7 day period, the total Bet Credits balance will expire 7 days after the last addition.

- Tournament Challenge is available at the discretion of bet365 and bet365 makes no guarantees regarding its availability. bet365 will not be responsible if the Tournament Challenge feature is not available for technical reasons.
- bet365 reserves the right to accept or decline any Tournament Challenge entry.
- bet365 reserves the right to reclaim any prize-money or remove Bet Credits awarded for a Tournament Challenge entry if the outcome of a fixture within the relevant game was determined in error.
