The runners in the Queen Mary Stakes

Entries for this race will ‘declare’ on 18th June 2020

We will add the runner for the Queen Mary Stakes as soon as they become available.

What’s Keith’s Queen Mary Stakes Tips for Royal Ascot 2020?

With the uncertainty of whether this race will be run due to the current coronavirus situation in the UK, it’s hard to predict selections for the upcoming Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

As soon as the picture is clearer, we will post Keith’s tips for the Queen Mary Stakes here.

Who is your Royal Ascot Tipster?

Keith Bond is our resident pro tipster here at FRT Towers. Keith lives and breathes horse racing, having begun his love of horse racing over 40 years ago with a part time job at Catterick Racecourse, as one of three fourteen year-olds looking after two jumps and a hurdle.

Over the years, Keith has been a regular at the northern tracks attending countless race meetings and building up a network of contacts, and a portfolio of systems and strategies.

He was one of the co-founders of Free Racing Tips all the way back in 2008, and his free tips are now backed by more than seventy thousand FRT members every single day.

“Thanks Keith – It’s great to be part of an amazing group of people all after the same thing, passing on tips to beat the bookies”

Colin Parkinson, Harrow.

The FRT community love Keith’s attention to detail, knowledge of past races, and ability to pick horses...

“You offer some great tips, some fantastic outsiders tipped up as well. Most tipsters just put up favourites. Well done and keep up the good work”

John Woolley, Stockport

What did Keith Tip in the 2019 Queen Mary Stakes?

This is what Keith said about the 2019 Queen Mary Stakes:

Leading Contenders
CHASING DREAMS 9/2 – Made a winning start to her career with a maiden win at Newmarket in April scooting clear by five lengths.
LADY PAULINE 8/1 – American raider trained by Wesley Ward who loves to get winners at the meeting. Won by almost ten lengths on her debut over four and a half furlongs. Beaten into second place at Ascot on 1st May.
ICKWORTH 8/1 – Game filly has won both her starts in Ireland latterly a listed event at the Curragh. Has the scope for improvement but will need to if she is going to win this.
DIVINE SPIRIT 8/1 – Easy winner at Windsor when odds on in what looked a pretty ordinary novice. May be up against it in this tougher company.

My selection for the race is LADY PAULINE 8/1 each way this half-sister to Lady Aurelia, a dual winner at Royal Ascot for Ward. Can be forgiven her May defeat as she hadn’t had long to acclimatise, and it was her first turf run.

On the day LADY PAULINE was a non-runner so Keith went for ICKWORTH 8/1 each way – Godolphin have a strong hand in this and my each way pick is ICKWORTH who won a Listed race at the Curragh last time pretty comfortably on yealding ground.

What our members tipped in the 2019 Queen Mary Stakes

Each day we ask our members to select their Pick 6, their NAP for each race of the day.  We then collate all the picks, and present the top selections to our VIP members.  Here’s how it went for the Queen Mary Stakes 2019:

It might be the first race of the day, but all eyes are on Final Song for this with over 27% of the votes – Divine Spirit with just over 15% and Ickworth in third with 13.3%.

Royal Ascot Queen Mary Stakes Results 2019

1 Raffle Prize 18/1
2 Kimari 13/2
3 Final Song 6/1F
4 Liberty Beach 16/1
25 ran NR: Emten, Good Vibes, Kemble
Distances: hd, 1l, 1¼l Time: 1m 1.58s (slow by 2.58s)

Our Verdict:

Raffle Prize and Kimari battle it out to the finish line, with only a head in it, Raffle Prize under Dettori takes the honours. The favourite Final Song was just a length behind them which will have disappointed our members, of which 27% picked Final Song.

Keith’s each-way selection ICKWORTH refused to race, thankfully most bookmakers refunded the stake money.
