Keith’s Notebook Horses 16th October 2019

Hi all just two runners for Keith’s Notebook Horses since last week. The first 2000 Guineas Favourite PINATUBO won as expected, some pundits are saying he made heavy weather of the race but muy opinion is that it was a fine performance on what was very soft going. On Monday GRAINEYHILL finished third at 8/1 which was a pretty decent performance and he has a race of this nature in his scope.

Here are the Notebook horses which have caught the eye recently.

Horses will be removed from the list once they run.

So long as you are subscribed to one of our lists you will be informed when the “Keith’s Notebook Horses” next run and my opinion of their chances.

Thursday 10th October

STERLING STAMP – First past the post at Kempton and relegated to second in the stewards room, front pair were well clear of the field.

Friday 11th October

SOME DAY SOON – Came from a long way back to take third at Chepstow will be a lot closer next time if ridden up with the pace.

Saturday 12th October

AL SUHAIL – Lost out in a battle with Military March over 1 mile at Newmarket, pair were 7 lengths clear. Will take all the beating next time out.

Thursday 16th October

ZEB SPIRIT – Fell three out when looking the likely winner at Wetherby, 2 lengths ahead and cruising at the time and hadn’t been asked a question.
