Keith’s Notebook Horses 11th September 2019

Hi all It was a quiet week for Keith’s Notebook Horses but the results have again been good on Thursday PANIC ROOM won at 3/1 while on Friday HYPERFOCUS was 3rd at 11/2.

It is Fantastic to see that Gordon Elliott has announced that Tiger Roll will again be aimed at the Grand National.

Here are the Notebook horses which have caught since last week.

Horses will be removed from the list once they run.

So long as you are subscribed to one of our lists you will be informed when the “Keith’s Notebook Horses” next run and my opinion of their chances.

Saturday 7th September

ZEGALO – Third of eight over 7 furlongs at Ascot. This is a big scopey type who is likely to make a better three year old. Looked outpaced two furlongs out but stayed on well closing at the finish. Expected to pick up a race of this nature before being put away for the winter.

ESCOBAR – Only beaten ½ length when fourth of sixteen over 7 furlongs at Ascot. Staying on well and closing at the finish two strides more and he would have been in front.

ALRIGHT SUNSHINE – Neck second of sixteen over 1m 6f at Haydock. Well backed on the day. Bumped at the start and held up. Made plenty of headway from before 2 furlongs from home. Was hanging badly when he hit the front which cost hime the race as he was held once headed again. Expect to see headgear on next time.
