Cheltenham RSA Insurance Novices Steeple Chase – 2019
FRT Tipster Keith advised:
Contenders for the race include DELTA WORK who is more likely to compete in Tuesday’s 4 mile National Hunt Challenge Cup Chase, SANTINI who heads the ante-post market at 3/1, his trainer Nicky Henderson is also aiming ON THE BLIND SIDE at the race which is more of a value option, Paul Nichols TOPOFTHEGAME and the tough mare LA BAGUE AU ROI who is unbeaten over fences who at 8 years old is slightly older than ideal but has hit the ground running since being sent chasing wins include the Grade 1 Kauto Star Chase on Boxing Day when she claimed the scalps of both SANTINI and TOPOFTHEGAME and followed that up with a nice win in the Flogas at Leopardstown, sadly though connections are favouring Aintree over Cheltenham.
My selection for the race is LA BAGUE AU ROI 16/1 each way (make sure you get NRNB) but in case she doesn’t run which is looking like the case I am having a saver on ON THE BLIND SIDE 16/1 each way.
Result: LA BAGUE AU ROI non runner, ON THE BLIND SIDE pulled up. TOPOFTHEGAME won.
