Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (Grade 3) (4yo)
Distance: 2 Miles ½ furlongs
Race six on day two is registered as the Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle and sponsored by Boodles. This is a race for juvenile novice hurdlers, run over two miles and 110 yards where they jump eight obstacles. This is a race where you might be able to pick out a high-priced winner with six of the last eight winners having returned at 25/1 plus. That said it still tends to go to the top stables, with Paul Nicholls having won the race three times and Gordon Elliot twice in recent years.

Cheltenham Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle – 2019
FRT Tipster Keith advised:
The anti-post market is dominated by Gordon Elliott with ENVOI ALLEN, MALONE ROAD and ANDY DUFRESNE but I like one trained by his old adversary Willie Mullins, BLUE SARI was impressive on debut at Galway an should have a big future.
My selection BLUE SARI 10/1 each way, at just 4 years old he is younger than the stats suggest but his win last time was an outstanding performance.
Result: non runner
