The Bet365 Handicap takes place at Newmarket on Friday and looks another competitive race on the July Course.
This race is held over a mile and two furlongs and eleven runners will head to post for this.
The favourite in the betting is the bang in-form Titi Makfi, who can be backed at 7/2 for Mark Johnston and Ryan Moore.
This three-year-old has won four from four this season and looked to still be progressing when winning well at Chester last time out.
The horse is still unexposed at this trip and you can see why he is towards the top of the market. This will be the toughest test for the horse, though.
Leshlaa is a 6/1 shot here for Oisin Murphy and Saeed Bin Suroor. This three-year-old won on seasonal reappearance in what was a very good performance but he then disappointed when well backed at the end of may.
The trainer then dropped him down in trip for the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot and the horse did very well to finish fifth on that day.
Leshlaa should enjoy being stepped back up in trip and although he’s top weight here, he could be the class act.
Daawy can be backed at 7/1 and has only been seen on three occasions.
He won well at Ripon in a maiden towards the end of April, but then disappointed when second of four at Doncaster last time.
There were excuses for that run though as he may not have been in love with the soft ground and it did become a tactical affair. He should be able to get a good toe into the race and Andrea Atzeni is a good jockey booking.
Marzouq is a 10/1 shot for Jeremy Noseda and has been a bit of a nearly horse this season with three seconds from four runs. He has a good EW chance but you do wonder if he’s quite got enough in hand to land the spoils.
Monticello and Colibri are also 10/1 shots with a good chance and it is then 12/1 about Medieval for Paul Cole and Fran Berry and he could be interesting.
The horse was ninth in a red hot handicap at Royal Ascot last time, but shaped quite well that day and gave the impression that this step up in trip would really suit.
He’s still go more to show us and may be a little bit overpriced.
It’s 14/1 about Oasis Charm and Speedo Boy, with Cullingworth completing the field at 20/1.
