Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle
The 17:05 Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle is run over an extended two miles, as the name would suggest by conditional jockeys.
The race takes place after the Grand National on the Saturday of the Aintree Festival and was won last year by 14/1 shot Far Away So Close for trainer Paul Nolan. This is another tough race to pick a winner, so look out for a gamble that might take place on the day.
We like the look of Constant Contact at 8/1 and the Donald McCain horse secured a wide-margin win in his latest maiden hurdle.
Kazlian also has a leading chance for David Pipe at 4/1 and still looks well-handicapped judged by his effort at Cheltenham, with Imperial Cup winner Painball next at 15/2. Sire De Grugy always runs his heart out and is 12/1, whilst Ubi Ace and Saute are interesting outsiders as well.
But we are willing to stick our neck out with Constant Contact in what is sure to be a wide open contest.
