Free Blackjack Tips

We’ve been providing you with daily free racing tips for a couple of years now, and we’re proud to unveil our latest FREE service – Free Blackjack Tips. This is a very simple blackjack strategy that anyone can follow, is perfectly legal and most importantly – it works!

Why it works
The odds of you beating the dealer on a single hand of blackjack (assuming you play “textbook” Blackjack strategy) are somewhere in the region of 49%. Therefore if you played 1,000 hands of Blackjack, you would expect to win around 490 of them, whilst the dealer would win something like 510 of them – This means that if you play the same stakes in every hand, then you will very, very slowly start handing your money over to the dealer (which is how a night playing Blackjack works for most people!) What this system does is ensure that you earn more from winning hands than you do from losing hands – you’ll still lose slightly more hands than you win, but over the long term, you will win a lot more money!

The system relies on the simple principle that you will have “streaks” of both winning and losing hands – it’s very common to win (or lose) 5 or 6 hands in a row (and not uncommon to have a run of 10/11 consecutive winning/losing hands) – Using a £1 stake, when that 6 hand losing streak comes along, you’ll lose £6 (boo!).. however when you win 6 hands in a row (which is only 2% less likely than losing 6 in a row), you’ll actually win £22 – nearly four times as much!

How it works
You simply need to follow the following rules:

1. Choose your unit stake carefully. Most casinos have a £5 minimum, although some have a £2 table, and playing online you should be able to play £1 hands. The amount you bet will increase as you win, but always by one unit stake per winning hand.

2. As you win one hand, you increase your bet by one unit stake for the next hand.

3. If that hand wins, then you increase your bet by one unit stake for the next hand.

4. Repeat until you have a losing hand, at which point you should go back to your original unit stake for the next hand.

Example (unit stake is £5):

Hand 1: I bet £5. I win, Dealer hands over £10. (profit is £5)
Hand 2: I bet £10. I win, Dealer hands over £20. (profit is £15)
Hand 3: I bet £15. I win, Dealer hands over £30. (profit is £25)
Hand 4: I bet £20. I win, Dealer hands over £40. (profit is £45)
Hand 5: I bet £25. I win, Dealer hands over £50. (profit is £70)
Hand 6: I bet £30. I win, Dealer hands over £60. (profit is £100)

Note how the profit starts jumping up higher and higher the more hands you win – this is because from hand 4 onwards, you are no longer playing with your original stake – that’s banked, and you’re now playing with winnings only – you’re now betting the casinos money! Of course as the profits jump higher, so does the amount you will lose from your first losing hand of the streak – If you lost hand 7, you’d lose £35. However remember this is all coming out of the profits already made, so you’d still be £65 up after just a few hands and ready to start again with a £5 stake. Don’t try and second guess when your streak will end, as you could miss out on BIG profits this way – accept the odd hefty loss on a single hand in order to make consistent huge profits over the long term.

What if I keep losing though? Well, If you lost those six hands, your loss would be limited to £30, as your unit stake would remain at £5 until you had a winning hand – That is the key to this system – it is all about maximising profits when you win and minimising losses when you don’t.

Basic Blackjack Strategy
If you are a novice to the basics of blackjack, then I’d receommend you print out this chart which shows you when to hit and when to fold. It also shows you when you should take the option to double your stakes (which is a very, very good way to further increase those profits) and which cards you should split to give you the best possible chance of beating the dealer.
