World Cup Tips 21st June 2010

This years world cup has not been a classic on the field with a lot of the big European Countries not performing as expected. England have been unconvicing with two draws in their opening games, and now open warfare between Manager Capello and scorn ex Captain John Terry. skybet have put together some bets relating to Englands chances and the future of Capello.

Sky Bet offer 7/2 that Fabio Capello will resign as England Manager before the end of this world cup. If England fail to get to the second round at the world cup.
So England need to win vs Slovenia on Wednesday and after draws against USA and Algeria the pressure is really on England. skybet will give you 1/2 to beat Slovenia with Slovenia 6/1 to beat england and 3/1 for the draw/. England are 4/9 to get to the next round and evens to win the group.

After their demolition job against Australia on Sunday, Germany look fantastic value for the 10/1 currently on offer from Bet365 for them to win the tournament, especially when compared to England at 7/1!

Brazil looks like a banker against North Korea – Perhaps look at backing them to be leading at half time (currently 4/9) to squeeze some extra value out, or combine with a Portugal win?

Well, that was our fledgling career as a football tipster off to a flyer wasn’t it? Both our footie tips for the first day lost (although only thanks to a Mexican Goalpost and a simply awful French team.

Place a bet on any team to win the World Cup, and if they crash out on penalties (AGAIN!!) Bet365 will refund your losing bets. That should help ease the pain! (England are currently fourth favourites at 15/2 with Bet365 to win the tournament)

South Korea v Greece to produce less than 3 goals (around 1/2 for the double with Betfair)
Carlos Tevez to score first goal + Argentina to win (5/1 with Bet365)

World Cup fever is finally upon us, and you won’t be able to escape mention of the tournament (at least until England inevitably crash out on penalties in the Quarter finals..).. So here at Free Racing Tips, we thought we’d have a little bit of fun and share with you some of our tips for the greatest tournament on the planet.. remember these are just for fun.. we tip horses for a living, NOT footballers, so please don’t shout at us when we get it all horribly wrong!
